Prime Learning sees Prime Opportunities in Education City

Date: 01 March 2010

Prime Learning is fast establishing itself as a preeminent provider of educational services for the burgeoning western corridor.

Jenny Field from Prime Learning’s said they were extremely happy with their location at Education City in Greater Springfield and they hoped to continue the rapid growth they have experienced in their time at the revolutionary campus over the last two years.

“Since opening our campus at Education City we have seen our enrolments grow strongly in the Springfield corridor.

“The housing and business growth in the Springfield area also drives the demand for skills training and job opportunities for our students.  There is no sign this rapid growth is slowing,” Ms Field said.

Prime Learning offers specialised training services throughout Queensland, plus blended learning opportunities and distance education options for students to study at home anywhere in Australia.

“We specifically enjoy the collaborative partnerships with other education providers at Education City, in particular MEGT.

“We offer a huge variety of training courses including Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Management, Information Technology and Education Support.

“Our courses range from one-on-one training and short courses, through to fully accredited certificates and diplomas and each may be tailored to your needs and requirements.

“Also, in line with Greater Springfield’s commitment to delivering a technologically savvy city we also offer a multitude of highly skilled Information Technology and Multimedia courses,” she said.

Springfield Land Corporation’s Executive General Manager for Health and Education, Terry Kearney, said Prime Learning played a pivotal role in the delivery of the lifelong learning framework at Education City. “The goal of Education City is to provide learning opportunities to the entire population – from early childhood to post-graduate university courses,” he said.

Prime Learning’s trainers live local to the area and travel offsite to assist students who study at home or at work on a regular basis to ensure they achieve their full potential in their fields of study.

“Our courses provide the ideal platform for people to up skill after school or prior to a career change. We have also seen a number of companies take advantage of the federal government’s incentives to provide extra training for their staff,” Ms Field said.
