Education City Fiesta

Pop, rock band Operator Please, with hits such as 'Just a Song About Ping Pong' and 'Get What You Want ” will be the headline act at the Education City Fiesta, with lots of other free on-stage entertainment throughout the course of the day.

 The Education City Fiesta, while being a community festival, also coincides with USQ Springfield Open Day (www.usq.edu.au/openday/sprng/default.htm). In addition, there will be other education, training and learning providers at Education City to showcase their courses and facilities on the day. It is the perfect opportunity for anybody who is thinking of furthering their education to visit the campus.

The amusement rides will only cost $15 for an all-day pass, and there will be many food and market stalls with the campus 'OC Cafe' also open.

Young Achivement Australia will also be represented on the day with over 20 of their young entrepreneurs from all over Queensland showcasing innovative products created with their business mentors. (www.yaa.org.au)

USQ Springfield, Bachelor of Applied Media (BAM) students in partnership with Channel Nine Brisbane, have produced a television special to celebrate the first 50 years of television in Queensland.

USQ will offer one Sinnathamby Commencing Scholarship to students who enrol in full-time, on-campus study in a bachelors degree program at USQ Springfield Campus in 2011.
