Getting to Education City |
With free parking on site and public transport available, access to Education City is quick and easy. Two of Australia's major airports (Brisbane and Gold Coast) are also in close proximity. Train and Bus Link Public transport to Education City is currently availalbe via rail to nearby Goodna station connecting with Translink bus services. A further rail line to Greater Springfield, with a station close the campus, is planned to be in place by 2013. For those students living off campus, buses provide a regular link to the surrounding community of Greater Springfield with services timed to coincide with the completion of lectures. The new Catholic primary school to open at Springfield Lakes in 2013 has announced its foundation Principal.
Judith Seery will take up the position in April this year, to enrol students, oversee construction and prepare the school to open at the start of next year. From 2005 to 2011, she was Principal of St Anthony’s School, Alexandra Hills – one of the largest Catholic primary schools in south-east Queensland.
Ms Seery says she is looking forward to the task ahead.
