Education City is in close proximity to all of the services and facilities of Ipswich, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.

From Brisbane – 30 mins:
Follow the Centenary Highway past the Logan Motorway and continue  until you reach Exit  32 .  (Please  do not  be  tempted  to take   Exit  31 ).  Turn left  at  the  end of  the  off ramp into Springfield  Greenbank Arterial and follow the road around until you reach a set of lights.  Turn right onto Sinnathamby Boulevard.  Take  the   first  turn right  into  University  Drive where parking  is  available .  Parking  is  also  available  off   Education City  Drive.

From the Gold Coast – less than 50 mins:
From the Pacific Motorway, take the Logan Motorway exit at Loganholme. Continue along and take the Centenary Highway exit to Springfield and Northern Suburbs. Take Exit 32 to Springfield Central. ). 

Turn left  at  the  end of  the  off ramp into Springfield  Greenbank Arterial and follow the road around until you reach a set of lights.  Turn right onto Sinnathamby Boulevard.  Take  the   first  turn right  into  University  Drive where parking  is  available .  Parking  is  also  available  off   Education City  Drive.

From Ipswich – 20 mins:
Head east on Chermside road, turn right onto Blackstone road, turn left at Mary Street, continue along Redbank Plains Road, continue through two roundabouts on Augusta Parkway. As  Augusta  Parkway  crosses  the  Centenary Highway, the  road    become  Sinnathamby Boulevard.  Continue  until you reach Education City Drive ( 4th  on    the  right)

The new Catholic primary school to open at Springfield Lakes in 2013 has announced its foundation Principal. Judith Seery will take up the position in April this year, to enrol students, oversee construction and prepare the school to open at the start of next year. From 2005 to 2011, she was Principal of St Anthony’s School, Alexandra Hills – one of the largest Catholic primary schools in south-east Queensland. Ms Seery says she is looking forward to the task ahead.

USQ has announced the recipients of three scholarships at the 2011 Springfield Scholarships Mid Year Awards recently at the Springfield campus.
