About Education City
Discover Opportunity

Education City is a unique campus that brings together education, training and learning providers in the one location.

Located in Greater Springfield, Education City was officially opened in 2006 by the then Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon John Howard, there are now over 3000 students on campus. This number is expected to grow to over 10,000 students when the development is complete.  The student accommodation village, currently offering 110 beds, will eventually house 750 students. Eighteen hectares of land has been flagged for Education City’s growth, which will strategically take place over the next 10 to 15 years.

Education City’s programs incorporate a variety of formal and informal learning opportunities, delivered through the provision of leading edge training providers. These cater for students of all ages and backgrounds, providing multiple and flexible learning pathways.

Providers currently located on campus include, Australia City College (ACC), MEGT, Prime Learning, St Peters Lutheran College, The Bremer Institute of TAFE, The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) and Union Institute of Language (UIL), Family Lakes Daycare and Charlton Brown.

Education City provides innovative partnering opportunities unique in the education industry. This is achieved by our providers collaborating to develop pathway programs and unique courses that fill gaps in education needs that they wouldn’t have been able to fill independently.
